Last year I managed to reach a number of goals, including sewing slower, making at least part of my patchwork pillows, make a quilt of sorts (check back on the Thursday to see!), made a tunic top, post here more often, and while I think I've slightly improved on my photography, it's something I still need to work on.
So here are my 2012 creative goals:
- Improve my photography
- Finish my inspiration board
- Install a zipper on something
- Add a buttonhole on something
- Paint that mirror!
- Finish our kitchen wall decor
- Continue to post here frequently
- Experiment with elastic in projects, both thread and band
- Try embroidery details - I've really enjoyed the rise of embroider-paired-with-sewing and would like to try it myself!
- Update my blog design. It's like a hair style I'm dying to change...but I can't seem to commit to any ideas on exactly HOW to change. Hopefully by the end of the year things will look different around here!
- Expand my paid creative industry projects. I'm excited about what I've done so far this year, and I want to continue to expand.
What did you do to celebrate New Years? Have you made any goals or resolutions for 2012?

Happy to hear that you had a good time in Berlin. We stayed home and had a few guests over.
I am still working on my goals for the year. There are a few projects around the house that definitely need to get done this year, blogging stuff...
Happy New Year!
Sounds like great goals. The only two I am working on at least at this moment are to get birth certificate for my daughter and her passports so that we can come to Germany at the end of April. Oh, I too like you would like to improve my photography.

I have a lot of the same goals, especially the sewing related ones! I have gotten to wear I can sew a sack dress like a champ, but I need to master zippers, elastic and button holes to get to the next level. I'm also trying to master sewing fleece since we live in a C-O-L-D place now... but so far I'm finding that pretty easy, actually!
Happy new year!

**where, not wear. :-)
Don't forget, you have a free zipper instruction time if you make it up North again one of these days... speaking of which, a get together (here or there) sounds like a good 2012 goal.
