It Was Very Merry + Air Dry White Clay

Just a little mini re-cap of the holidays in our home. There were lights, glitter, cookies, and white clay ornaments and tags. It turns out that making a giant batch of white clay gift tags and ornaments is actually not too difficult.  This is one of those projects I talked about earlier. I paired my ornaments with lux velvet ribbon for a nice contrast. You can see one of the word tags here on a vase. All of the Craft It Forward 2011 peeps received some of these; friends and family as well.
Most of what I made were pretty simple squares, rectangles or other cookie-cutter shapes. The bird was a little idea I had in my head, but I just saw a similar one posted on the Ikea blog the other day! Great minds think alike, huh? =)

I also made a lot of non-Christmas elements that will be fun to use in the coming year. Check out the tutorial here (auf Deutsch), and read about the project here (in English).

Did you make a lot of any one thing for this holiday season (aside from Christmas cookies!!)?

I made white clay tags too. Snow-Stars to be exact. It was fun... I never used the material before. And you get a lot out of one package. Greetings from Dortmund, Fee

I love your place! You have made it so cozy. Usually, houses in Germany seem so cold to me. So glad you had a fantstic Weinachten. Hope you had a Happy New Year!
