Spring in Germany

This week's Corner View theme is 'spring', so it's no surprise I'm posting something related to the things bursting forth! These are the buds on the lilac tree off my balcony.

I took the picture above last week about this time. The picture below is of the same pair of buds, only now you see how they've popped open even further by now! It will still be a bit, but I can't wait to smell the lilac!

Here's a teaser - also spring related: This past weekend we went to a little regional fair featuring traditional clothing and Easter egg decoration. This was our third year visiting, so we didn't stay long, but I did snap a few photos that I'll share later this week.

We're busy now with another project one associates with spring: spring cleaning! My little office is finally getting storage and shelving, hooray! Unfortunately some of the things we need (doors to storage) won't be available for another 4-6 weeks, but it's good to get started for now.

Beautiful springy pics! Which reminds me that I should also take my camera for a walk, as Mom asked me to take some photos of the blooming flowers here in Frankfurt. Apparently they are nowhere near that in Estonia yet. :)

Happy Easter! Will you stay home? We are making a trip to Prague, to visit our dear friends. Bohemian crystal (beads!), here I come! ;)

Epp - yes, we're staying home, but have friends coming to visit for a few days, so it will be nice. Have fun in Prague! I'm going to have to ask you for Estonia tips, b/c it looks like we're def. going this summer! =)

I've always wanted to take progressive photos of something budding. I'll have to find a tree somewhere that's not quite blossomed yet.

I left an award for you on my blog.
