Corner View: Love

This week's Corner View theme is love. I don't have much to say on this because the one I love has 2 weeks vacation right now so we've been busy doing projects around the house, running errands, watching movies, and just hanging out.

One of the things we've done so far that I love, is enjoy the fall German specialty of Kürbis Creme Suppe - pumpkin cream soup. Along with Pflaumenkuchen, Kürbis Creme Suppe is another typical dish served during the autumn season here in Germany. I don't have a recipe for it, but I found this one and it looks tasty!

Looks delicious! The Moroccans eat a pumpkin soup too, but I have to always say no because I'm lactose intolerant. :-( I need to get a recipe and make it with soy milk!

Sounds delicious! I love these autumn soups, it is so good to eat something like that on a chilly day! How is the weather in Germany? In Brussels it is freezing cold today :-(

Love sometimes is just hanging around most of the time. I like pumpkin sour too. Yummy!

Sounds delicious! and how nice to have someone to share it with even if it's the middle of the day and in the middle of projects!

After I made my pumpkin bread the other day, I thought that it might be a good idea to puree and freeze some this year for yummy things like kürbis suppe and pumpkin pie (for our Thanksgiving fest) Yummy... also a favorite of mine and the weather is just right for the warm, tasty treat.

P.S. The Zuchinni bread is also a favorite of mine... and a big hit with my German friends.
