On holiday in Bavaria

Admittedly this post is scheduled because we've left this morning on 'holiday' (i.e., vacation). However, this week's Corner View theme is holiday photos, so it seemed fitting to share a few Flickr finds of where we're heading: Oberbayern (upper Bavaria - upper because it's in the Alps, not because it's in any way northern Germany!). I was looking forward to some fall treks through the leaves, but family we're visiting has warned us to come prepared for snow! Too bad we're not scheduled to get our winter tires on the car for another few weeks!

I was really hoping to post some more pictures of our Scandinavian road trip (I'm due for a post on Denmark), but work has just been too heavy for me to spend time going through the 600+ pictures we took to create a blog post. Hopefully that will change soon!
