Pink Treats to Eat

1 / 2 / 3

Virtual food consumption in the form of a digital blog post. Caution: Excellent photography and easy recipes may lead to actual calorie consumption. I'm tempted to try the homemade Kit-Kat bars or one of the red velvet confections: a no-bake cheesecake or the sandwich cookies. Which would you choose?

Valentine's Day is barely celebrated here in Germany, but we usually do something small. This year I'm entertaining the idea of making a sweet treat and then sharing the results with our neighbors to help keep the calorie count down in our own home.

What about you? Is Valentine's Day celebrated in your area? How do you celebrate the day?

Yum yum, I'd eat them all! In Finland Valentine's days is not that big. I usually get chocolate or flowers from my husband - very traditional, isn't it? ;)

What a great idea to share the calories!

Usually Valentine's day is only celebrated if I happen to mention to my honey what day it is... then a bouquet might show up after the reminder. No reminder = no flowers.

@Jutta & @Allison: I get flowers from my husband, too (though a reminder is sometimes necessary!). =)
