Spring Sewing Discount

Spring weather is almost here! I can smell it via some forced bulbs I have and I can almost touch it with these gorgeous fabrics in Allison's shop. She just re-opened her newly designed webshop, Stillwater Designs, and you must pop over for a visit -especially since she's offering 10% off everything through March 10th! She specializes in imported American designer fabric (think Amy Butler, Julia Rothman, Sarah Watts, and Anna Maria Horner), but also sells some of her own handmade items, like handbags and jewelry.

Allison ist eine ganz liebe Amerikanerin die jetzt in Hamburg wohnt und Amerikanische Stoffe verkauft. Sie verkauft auch ihre eigene Kreationen, z.B. Handtaschen, Schals, Schmuck, usw. Diese Woche feiert sie die neueröffnung ihre schöne Webshop und bietet ein 10% Rabatt auf alles an (bis Sonntag, 10.03).

I play around with fabric and crafting and often don't make the effort to be precise when I'm just having fun, but since I have some of Allison's work and have seen much of it in person I can honestly say this: Allison is so exact in her work that as soon as you touch her jewelry or one of her bags you know it's Quality (with a capitol Q). I really admire people who are skilled enough to regularly produce Quality items, and it doesn't hurt when those things are also pretty!
