Fall Colors and a Free Embroidery Pattern

I thought the colors in this photo were wonderfully fall feeling, so I pulled a few colors out for inspiration. This photo is of a project Evie Shaffer (love her blog!) has been making from a free pattern found at For the Makers (lots of fun projects there btw). I love the fall moodiness of the project. Can't you imagine stitching away curled up on the couch with a cup of tea?

Any embroidery fans out there? I seem to use embroidery thread for everything except its intended use!

Allison said...: Oh, I so love embriodery, although I could use some practice before I could get mine to look this pretty. But right now I am so tired that even just the cup of tea and curled up on the couch sounds good ; )
