Film to Watch: Red Dog

We watched the movie 'Red Dog' recently and loved it. 'Red Dog' has a fantastic soundtrack paired with a good old fashioned story based on a North Australian legend. It's made complete with fun Aussie accents (and one American thanks to Josh Lucas) and the crazy Aussie fashions of the 1970's. I love how they filmed it; it's very much like a story where characters are almost caricatures -really fun! If you're looking for something to watch this weekend, this might be it!

Have you seen 'Red Dog'? What good movies have you seen lately?

Ohh it looks so good. Love a good film.
If you haven't seen these yet (they're old though) get yourself Cinema Paradiso (amazing cinematography), and for feeling good and feeling french: A good year with Russel Crowe - just the perfect amount of OTT.
Happy weekend Juliette,

Oh, it's such a great movie! I watched it on a trip back to Australia last year with some friends and we all cried - all dog lovers.

Check out "The Intouchables" (French with English subtitles) that I reviewed on my blog http://traveltruth101.blogspot.de/2012/06/in-flight-movie-reviews-part-1.html - it's the most brilliant movie I've seen in ages.
